IDENTIFYING FOXTAIL
Foxtail (also know as wild millet) is an annual grassy weed that can grow in almost any soil conditions. Foxtail forms a coarse, upright spike that can grow up to 10 inches and resembles a fox's tail. The leaves are flat, wide, and smooth with rough edges and fine hairs.The plants will produce barbed seed heads throughout the summer that can burrow into pets and cause pain and infection.
